Screening and Selection

The Screening and Selection of our candidates is of the utmost importance to Rendeck Different IT.

Although all of us at Rendeck Different IT have spent many years within the ICT Industry and most of our personnel are technically proficient, it is imperative that we also understand the nature of our clients business and their specific challenges and priorities. We can only achieve this with the assistance and co-operation of our customer’s internal organisation. Several brief discussions with either the customer’s Technical or Procurement departments usually provide us with the necessary insights.

Upon completion of the above assessment we will begin the process of selecting a short list of possible candidates from our permanent staff as well as from our contract staff. Although we have known many of our contract consultants for years, we still insist on following the same procedure, as people’s personal requirements change from year to year and this has to be taken into consideration and not just assumed. We will qualify the candidate's profile against the skills required in our detailed job description. We will intensively check all references provided. We will ascertain the candidate’s availability and flexibility regarding the location of the job.

Our first priority is always to find candidates who live locally to our clients premises; this
is for either temporary, contract or permanent roles. We will discuss with the candidate
the salary indication and all benefits should the role be for a permanent position. For
temporary or contractor positions we will inform the candidate of the daily rate and the
desired duration of the contract. Once we have ascertained all of the above we will
invite the candidate for a formal technical interview. During the interview process we
will cover all aspects of the job specification. On completing the final interview
assessment and when all parties are in agreement then and only then will we submit the
profile to the client.

Quality Assurance
We take great care in ensuring that all our candidates know where their profile or details
are at any given moment. We will not under any circumstance edit, re-write, or amend
their Curriculum Vitae to enhance their chances in anyway whatsoever. We guarantee
that the information you receive is true and accurate and that our candidates are aware
that their details have been sent with their prior consent.
